Our client is a leading VAT & Customs duty consultancy based in Manchester. They work with clients all over the country and recent research has shown they are one of the largest and most comprehensive sources of VAT and customs advice nationally. The role will involve working closely alongside the partners and assisting them with an interesting mix of technical work including: VAT planning, customs queries, assessment / business reviews, transactions and HMRC investigations. As the team have a number of junior members of staff, your role will also include reviewing their work and overseeing their day to day queries. This is an excellent role for candidates looking to move away from the profession who have a proven track record in direct tax.
