Our client is a Tier A accounting practice with a comprehensive national reach. Their London practice is relatively undeveloped and this offers a superb opportunity for a dynamic candidate to take this pivotal role in their VAT team. The role will involve a mixture of compliance and advisory work for a portfolio of businesses from a wide variety of sectors. The firm has a lot of strength in the hospitality and leisure industry and previous experience of dealing with this sector would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite. The role will involve taking full responsibility for overseeing the timely delivery of quarterly returns and identification of planning opportunities. You will have ample opportunity to develop your portfolio through warm and cold client relationships and be in charge of your own development and progression. This role would suit a driven manager or AM at a Big 4/Top 10 firm who is looking for a department with more room for development but wants to maintain the high calibre clientele.
