VAT consultants needed urgently. FTSE 100 with profits in the billions is looking for leading candidates with excellent academic backgrounds and astute knowledge of indirect tax. The role is an opportunity to work within one of the major success stories of the modern business world. This retailer has grown massively in the past few years and is still keen on improving processes, perhaps one of the many reasons why they continue to excel even within the current economic climate. The ideal candidate will come from a top 4 background with a history of working within the retail sector. The role will need a flexible approach as it would encompass the following:
· Timely VAT advice for all business units
· Review VAT computations
· Manage relations with HMRC
· Identify and offer solutions to potential VAT problems / opportunities
The ideal candidate will have a history of working well within a hard working team and will be result orientated. This opportunity will look at strong communicators, preferably with either a CA or CTA qualification.
