International Tax Accountant - Law Firm, Manchester / WFH

I am currently recruiting for a Global legal firm who are looking for an International tax accountant who can come in and play a pivotal role in a well-established team. This role will be reporting directly into the Senior International Tax Manager and will have the opportunity to get great exposure and work with the wider finance team.

You will play an essential role in ensuring compliance with International tax regulations. With opportunities to engage with external advisors and stay abreast of evolving tax legislation, this role offers a stimulating environment with an excellent chance to progress within your first year.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their Manchester office.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation of corporation tax returns, preparation of tax accounting provisions and disclosures for year-end and interim reporting and
VAT compliance.
• Assisting in managing relationships with external tax advisors and authorities
• Understand and review international tax filings
• Understand and review international tax payments
• Research and analyse tax issues to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislation
• Assistance and preparation of Pillar 2 reporting requirements
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations

Requirements:
• ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent
• 2-3 years of working in international tax
• Driven with ability to take ownership
• Good organisational skills, able to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment
