VAT Manager (SAP super user), In-house, £600 a day, 9 months Contract, London based

Do you have VAT Advisory experience working in EMEA roles for multinationals? Do you have you experience in understanding business requirements, model and solution to put in place?

About you

You will implement a Global Indirect Tax solution and ensure that it is fit for purpose and meets all legal and fiscal requirements with no impact to current VAT reporting deadlines. Your role requires the ability to understand and apply tax analyses to complex chain transactions with multiple vendors and purchasers.
You will use your VAT knowledge to understand the tax treatment applicable to the business transactions and ERP knowledge to understand how the system works and that the conclusions drawn are correct resulting in accurate VAT, Intrastat and ESL reporting.
You will define business requirements for each BU and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure alignment. You will scope, plan, align with Global Tax / Tax technology in selection of scenarios for testing and attend data load delivery meetings. You will confirm migration of data is correct. You will ensure test scripts are complete for all scenario’s and raise remedy tickets as required, you will provide regular updates by scenario and attend all meetings in relation to issues raised from / during testing. You will confirm any changes in process to business and review all relevant training material, attend weekly business update. You will communicate all changes to VAT, Intrastat and ESL to business.

- Experience as a SAP user or super user
- Strong communication skills as you will interact with various grades and disciplines
