Director of Tax Operations - Remote, £100-£120k + bonus + bens

KM4 Talent are partnering with a leading Professional Services business to hire a Tax Operations Director. This is an integral role for the business where you will be the key leader driving exceptional Tax operational services.

This role can be based remotely and some travel will be required through their UK hubs (Reading, London). The salary range is £100 - £120k along with excellent company benefits. Responsibilities;

Manage ongoing contractual relationships and the delivery of Tax Operations services to clients for a group of accounts in respect of Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Payroll compliance

● Serve as a primary point of contact for key client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
● Manage the delivery of contracted services to clients to ensure that SLAs and KPIs as defined .
● With the relevant sector head and operational lead, prepare the annual budget for the service line.
● Serve as primary contact person for escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
● Maintain tight control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget; ensure that
operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements.
● Ensure the team builds and maintains strong relationships with clients as well as other teams and provides day-to-day assistance, advice and support.
● Ensure the team has the appropriate level of technical expertise, qualifications and experience to provide the exceptional service
● To drive and be responsible for continuous improvement to the service
● To be the UK business lead for any projects for the service
● Monitor SLA delivery to ensure that all agreed service levels are met or exceeded.
● Responsible for all vendor relationships relevant to the Service to ensure SLAs are met
● Decision maker on fee, debt and service disputes.
● Preparing management and board reports.
● Supporting the month end process where necessary.
● Works closely with Internal audit/compliance to improve and maintain strong control environment.
● Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure that all processes remain compliant.

Key Skills;

● You will have a keen eye for detail and have the ability to see and implement changes to process to improve service delivery to clients.
● Also, you will have a strong track record of improving profitability from the services provided and exceed client expectations.
● You will have a strong management background with a drive to creating and instilling a high- performance culture.
● You will have knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards along with a Minimum 5 years relevant Tax experience with at least 3 years at Director or Associate Director level.
● You will ideally have a relevant Tax qualification However extensive relevant experience with no formal
qualification will also be considered.
