Business Development Lead - Tax Products - Wealth & Asset Management Firm

Pure has been retained by a fast moving and progressive Wealth & Asset Management firm based in central London to appoint a Business Development Lead for their products team. The focus of this role will be tax products which are predominately relating to IHT, CGT and Trusts.

This is a exceptional opportunity for someone who would like to move away from a tax technical role and focus on their commercial side and help to drive growth in new and existing products. The role requires outside the box thinking and varied decision making through targeting the best commercial or customer outcome for those investing in the products. You will therefore need to have a proven ability to build and sustain solid relationships quickly with key stakeholders and those in the cross-functional teams that you need to steer.

The candidate therefore, could come from an in-house tax role (working with products), Wealth Management firm (ideally with a tax background), Tax practice or another Wealth & Asset Manager providing you have a tax background combined with business acumen.

Ideal experience:

* Tax experience and CTA qualified. Private Client Tax would be of great benefit but not essential.
* Sales, marketing or investor relations related experience will be very helpful but not essential
* The chosen candidate will be an excellent communicator in everything from writing engaging copy for customers to influencing and challenging senior colleagues
* You will be self-motivated and interested in constantly learning
* You will enjoy every day being different, and relish the challenge of dealing with ad hoc projects
