Operational Taxes Manager

We have an excellent opportunity to allow the right candidate to work with a wide range of clients, providing them with reporting and advisory work in the Automatic Exchange of Information (“AEOI”) space.

Specifically, we're seeking a new Tax Manager in The Channel Islands & Isle of Man, focused on Operational Taxes including FATCA and CRS reporting and advisory work.

The manager will have access to cutting edge technologies to deliver the work and will be responsible for assisting with the internal development of their team to capitalise on a rapidly growing service line and will be outward-facing, helping to identify and grow opportunities across the markets in which they work.

Key Responsibilities

-This individual will work closely with the Head of Operational Taxes and be responsible for helping to run the team on a day-to-day basis
-Providing training to intermediaries on AEOI
-Advise local and international clients on their reporting requirements
-Work on a wide range of advisory projects assisting clients with their AEOI obligations
-Assist with remediating issues of non-compliance and liaising directly with the Revenue Service in each jurisdiction
-Promoting tax compliance and advisory services in the Crown Dependencies.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

-Preferably trained in a “big 4” environment but flexible for the right candidate.
-Appropriate professional qualification – ACA/CTA/ACCA
-At least 2 years of post-qualification experience
-Experience with matters of FATCA and CRS
-Experience of coaching and developing team members
-Excellent written and presentation skills
-Excellent process and project management skills with a digital focus on transforming processes
