Director of Tax, Greenfield Role, to £150k + excellent bens

Outstanding, newly created greenfield role, for a Director of Tax. High growth business.


Your new role

I'm working on an outstanding, newly created, opportunity for a Tax Director. The business I'm working with sits within the technology / gaming sector and has just gone through a significant round of investment. There is now the need to build out its group finance function and as part of that growth and hiring strategy the FD has focused on a number of key hires including this Tax Director role.

Key requirements for this role include:

* Strong international tax experience;
* Extensive Private Equity experience as well as significant M&A exposure;
* Experience of working for a business that has gone through an IPO desirable but no essential;
* Wider taxes experience including a good grasp of Employment Taxes;
* Outstanding stakeholder engagement.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high growth, fast paced organisation. The role requires someone who has operated at a senior level, who understands the touch points of working in a high growth, high energy environment and who can develop the overarching tax strategy for the group.

What you'll need to succeed

You are likely to be a qualified accountant and chartered tax advisor with significant tax experience. Specific technology / gaming sector experience would be highly desirable.

Key characteristics and attributes that are highly sought after by the business are people that can demonstrate empathy and additionally the ability to take ownership for projects and tasks.
