Purpose of Role

To perform all daily duties associated with Client Reporting functions to a high standard, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, and client requirements are prioritised at all times. To adhere to all controls, regulatory guidelines and procedures relevant to CGT and Valuations functions.

Responsibilities:

Tasks and activities

* Complete all daily tasks assigned to you in relation to Client Reporting; including running closing schedules and regular liaison with Investment Front Office for requests, remediation and query resolution.
* Assist in the preparation of diarised and adhoc valuations.
* Assist in the preparation and diarised and adhoc tax packs.

* Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales
* Ensure that personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR are met
* Provide technical advice to assist in resolving issues or queries which arise within the team
* Contribute and assist with change initiatives relevant to the team
* Prepare weekly management information statistics relevant to team duties

Education and Qualifications:

* For candidates with no relevant experience, Graduate
* Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential

Experience and Skills:

* Settlement operations experience gained within a financial institution, advantageous but not essential
* Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
* Understanding of Portfolio administration for bespoke investment clients
* Good communication skills - verbal and written
* Ability to work accurately under pressure, multi task and interpret information quickly
* Understanding of CGT principles (preferred)
* Understanding of Investment Products (preferred)
* Understanding of performance and impact to valuations (preferred)
* Understanding of tax packs for clients (preferred)
* Deal with complex queries and find resolve to all parties satisfaction
