The Bristol office is located in the heart of the City's financial district, near to Temple Meads train station, the city centre and harbour side. The office has a vibrant open plan layout and is home to around 190 people offering an exceptionally broad range of financial services to individuals and businesses across the West of England, nationally and internationally

Job Purpose:

To manage your own portfolio of clients, working with Directors/Partners or alone on complicated consultancy and advisory projects. A significant part of the role will be business development of existing and new clients as well as potentially developing a specialist field of technical and/or sector knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage portfolio of compliance cases
* Undertake consultancy work and provide exceptional client service
* Identifying opportunities on client portfolio
* Appraisals/monitor staff performance
* Involved in business development activities/profile raising locally
* Ensuring S&W procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant

Skills and Qualifications:

* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA)
* Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry
* Technically capable tax adviser who is able to manage complex client work
* Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
* Existing business development skills and appetite to grow business
* Project management experience
* Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
