In-House VAT Manager, (Hybrid - 2 days in London)

An exciting opportunity for a VAT Manager has arisen as a result of increasing complexity and growth within this fast-paced Group. The profile of the tax function continues to increase, and this role will further enhance this and their ability to add value to the business.

Reporting to the Head of Tax and oversight over 2 Tax Associates, you will take ownership over Indirect Tax internationally. The role will require a genuine mix of compliance and advisory work with the successful candidate being prepared to roll their sleeves up in relation to compliance as well as putting in place a strategy behind indirect tax. Specific responsibilities include:

* Ownership of indirect tax compliance cycle across multiple jurisdictions (key focus being the UK, EMEA, and APAC)
* Supporting new market expansions
* Keeping up to date with indirect tax case law and any legislative changes impacting the business
* Driving technology improvements to aid automation and compliance

The role will evolve as your profile within the business increases, and you are able to identify issues/ risks/ opportunities. They require someone who is able to drive change, influence internally and be hands on with compliance.
