Global Mobility Senior Manager, Scotland

Simpson Booth are representing a professional services firm in Glasgow that is looking for a Global Mobility Senior Manager to join their Practice. This role would suit an ambitious tax professional looking for progression and the role can be located out of either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Our client would also consider applications of ambitious Managers looking for a step up to Senior Manager grading.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Building relationships with key client stakeholders including HR, Tax and Finance personnel
• Working closely with senior members of the Tax Practice across Scotland
• Coaching, mentoring and managing junior team members
• Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
• Managing the income tax return compliance process in respect of expatriate employees
• Being the focal point for clients and advising them on a broad range of cross-border income tax, social security, payroll compliance and tax equalisation in respect of globally mobile employees

Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive expatriate tax experience
• Business development experience
• Ability to work on their own initiative
• Takes full accountability for work produced
• Takes pride in working for the company
• Capable of working to deadlines and under pressure
• Has the ability to identify any issues and then analyse, investigate and provide a professional solution to the problem
