An industry leading business based in Cheshire is currently looking for an In-house Tax Manager to assist the Head of Tax with corporate tax compliance work and VAT accounting.
The role will have a heavy emphasis on developing and improving the current processes, thereby allowing the successful candidate to really make their mark in this growing, exciting and fast-paced business.

Description
* Assisting with the group's corporation tax computations, returns and liabilities
* Assisting with the tax compliance in non-UK jurisdictions within EMEA
* Prepare accounting calculations, journals and notes for statutory accounts purposes including deferred tax and balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting the Head of Tax with transfer pricing including preparing documents and advising wider business
* Managing the non-US indirect tax issues, Holding company management, which includes true management in my position as a Director of a number of the entities but which also includes regular substance reviews.
* Prepare the group VAT returns and liabilities and optimise VAT recovery
* Provide VAT advice to the finance team and the wider business
* Forecast of quarterly instalment payments and other tax payments.
* Assist the Head of Tax in providing tax advice and relaying this to other functions.
* Building relationships with senior team members and key decision makers
* Proactively improving system processes, policies and procedures.
Profile
* Ideally ACA, CTA or ATT qualified
* Proven experience within a financial and tax background.
* This will be a good move for someone who is in an in-house tax position or a first time mover from practice.
* Knowledge of corporate tax compliance. Ideally knowledge of VAT/ Indirect tax as well.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
* Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximise performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
Job Offer
