The role will involve you undertaking a number of challenges that include staff management, contributing to the strategic direction of the team, managing a portfolio of claims for R&D tax relief and tax credits and contributing to marketing ideas.
You will take over the line management of a team that includes tax specialist, engineers, software programmers and scientists. You will be responsible for your team’s development and progression.

You will take responsibility for leading meetings with clients, building and developing working relationships with colleagues and your network of intermediaries. The firm has great relationships in place for you to build on and develop further.
Management of a portfolio of clients, including liaison with clients, colleagues and HMRC to ensure claims are optimised and deadlines are met ensuring R&D claims meet the requirements of relevant tax legislation and guidelines
You will ideally:
Possess a Science or Engineering Postgraduate Degree and or a business degree and/or other finance degree/qualification.
Experience of managing projects and R&D tax reliefs.
