Tax Partner / Partner designate, Manchester, To £Six figures + future equity

An opportunity has arisen to join one of the region’s leading independent firms. The firm, which is highly rated locally and has a strong brand in the SME marketplace, seeks to recruit either an established partner or a partner designate for a future leadership role. In the short term, your primary objective will be to enhance the firm’s tax advisory capabilities and help the continuing development of the tax advisory service line. In addition, as part of the firm’s succession planning the you will be earmarked and supported to become the future head of the tax practice. You will be expected to play an important role in the firm’s marketing activities and will be a highly motivated self-starter with commercial flair and must be a committed team player. The role which will necessitate you being comfortable advising on a range of tax issues, consequently strong client handling skills together with expertise in tax planning for SME’s are required.
