Your new company

Your new company is a small independent accountancy practice that provides tax and accountancy services for local companies based in the Swindon Area

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for accounts production for small businesses including limited companies and sole traders. You will be responsible for preparing and checking VAT tax returns. You will also liaise with clients regarding their accounts, tax returns, VAT and tax queries, whilst aiming to build up these client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have some level of previous experience working in an accountancy practice and you will ideally be fully AAT qualified or equivalent. You will ideally have prepared VAT returns and income tax returns. You will need to be competent in Microsoft word/excel and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will ideally have used software packages including Sage and Xero and having an understand of Iris accounts production would be useful.
