As the Senior Tax Reporting Transformation Manager (Interim), your principle role will be to support the Global Head of Tax in the review and redesign of the Group tax reporting and consolidation processes.

This is a fixed term contract over twelve months with the potential for extended employment.

Key duties include:

Complete a full review of the year-end tax reporting process, including the group consolidation and preparation of disclosure notes
Oversee the activities of the current tax reporting and compliance team
Design and delivery of a comprehensive year-end tax reporting timetable, detailing tasks required from Group tax, business tax and local Finance
Support of the process redesign including full documentation of the end to end year-end tax reporting process and sub processes, including strengthened controls & governance
Working with the wider finance community to ensure smooth running of reporting process
Develop an archive of tax reporting documentation and process guides
Support the transition to a new group consolidation solution for IFRS for tax reporting purposes
Help to improve the quality of forecasting, monthly and half year tax reporting
Support the identification and mitigation of tax reporting risks and incidents at Group level
Proactively support and work with the wider team to improve tax risk management framework
Review the current technology process within the tax reporting software, challenging the outputs and reports which have been defined
Identify additional opportunities to leverage technology across other reporting processes, such as forecasting and Country by Country Reporting

About you:

ACA qualified (or equivalent)
Expert understanding of accounting principles and tax accounting concepts
Strong communicator with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience in process review and process improvement
Ability to document processes and prepare guidance to simplify processes
Work effectively within a team and on a number of concurrent projects.
