Tax Assistant Manager or Manager, Cambridgeshire

This medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants offer corporate clients and wealthy individuals a variety of professional services that includes taxation, audit, corporate finance and probate.

With offices throughout the UK, the client work handled is diverse, as is the staff of professionals, who are made up of ex Big 4, ex mid-tier and home-grown talent.

The Cambridgeshire tax department is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant Manager or Manager who can take responsibility for a personal and business tax client portfolio.

It is anticipated that you will be experienced in preparing tax computations and tax returns that can be reviewed by your senior management colleagues, while yourself reviewing some tax work that has been undertaken by junior team members. You will also support senior management with tax advisory projects and various ad hoc initiatives on occasions as well.

You are likely to be ATT and/or CTA qualified or part qualified, with solid tax compliance experience gained within a large or medium sized firm of accountants in your career to date.

Prior experience of and involvement with tax advisory services would be advantageous, although not essential and you will have the chance to develop your tax technical and tax advisory skills in this role.
