Private Client Tax Manager, Cambridgeshire

The Cambridgeshire office of this medium-sized Chartered Accountancy practice is looking to recruit a private client tax specialist who is familiar with handling work that includes CGT, Trusts, Share Schemes and wider personal tax affairs, including P11D preparation.

Clients include high net worth individuals, SME directors, Trustees and residential landlords.

The role in brief:

Managing your own client portfolio, you will be responsible for the preparation, drafting and finalising self-assessment tax returns for individuals and trusts, including capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property, as well as small income and expenditure accounts where necessary.

Reviewing the progress of tax return preparation and payment of tax through the tax cycle

Production of P11D’s, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion

Identifying and highlight tax planning opportunities for clients

Assisting with mentoring and coaching junior team members

Participating in internal and external meetings when required
