This global prop trading firm is looking for an ambitious tax adviser to join the team and assist with compliance and reporting over a variety of taxes. Suitable for someone with a few years' experience in corporate tax.
Key Responsibilities
UK and International corporate tax issues
* Deductible/non-deductible compliance reviews
* Participate in tax return review
* Working with Finance Team to ensure correct tax treatments
* Query management with AP and Finance
UK and International VAT processes
* Compliance reviews of UK and Dutch VAT records
* Compliance review query management with AP
Stamp Duty
* Annual stamp compliance review
* Monitoring systemic notification of updates to calculation rules
FATCA/CRS
* Completion of ad hoc CRS/FATCA on-boarding form requests
* Review of forms received to ensure compliance
Country by Country Reporting/Transfer Pricing
* Compilation and review of notifications and reports for multiple jurisdictions
* Ongoing review of tax changes to help identify potential impacts to business
Skills / Experience
* Experience of working in a tax team, for a large accountancy firm or financial services business
* General understanding of corporate tax, VAT and transaction taxes
* A keen to desire to learn a variety of tax processes and broaden your experience
* Strong attention to detail, an effective communicator
* Able to prioritise and manage multiple workflows
* Able to identify and work towards resolving process inefficiencies
