Global Tax & Planning Manager, EMEA, Preston - £60k to £90k

A Global manufacturing business renowned for its electric products seeking a Global Tax Manager in Preston.

This job opportunity for an experienced Global Tax professional within a multi-billion revenue business has arisen due to a restructure in the Tax department. This is a global organisation that dominate the electric manufacturing product industry and constantly growing and developing. Now looking to recruit a Global Tax and Planning manager, EMEA.

Your new role
As Global Tax Manager you will work alongside and support the EMEA Director in providing leadership and oversight across a variety of activities. You will be responsible for the delivery of the EMEA effective tax rate forecasts, support through establishing the opening balance of deferred tax for new acquisitions, manage the preparation of EMEA corporation tax returns and VAT returns, and support the EMEA tax Director with mergers, acquisitions, tax controversy and examinations.

What you'll need to succeed
This organisation is looking for an individual with an accounting or tax qualification, along with proven post-qualified tax experience, within the Top 10 or in industry. You will have strong technical tax skills with up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation. Previous experience of working an international tax role is mandatory.
