UK Corporate Tax Assistant Manager – London (Frequent Travel to USA)

Our client is a Top 50 US Headquartered Accountancy firm who have recently launched a UK office based in the City of London.

With exciting growth plans to have a full service office in London that will focus on Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance and a number of specialist service offerings and 200 staff by 2025, this firm will become a household name in the UK market in the not so distant future.

This is a great opportunity to join the firms London office whilst it is still in its infancy and be a part of what is sure to be a very interesting and exciting journey as the firm develops.

The firm seeks to hire a Corporate and or International Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to work closely with the London base Tax Partner. Essentially you will be his right hand man/woman! You will need to have corporate tax experience dealing with both compliance and advisory matters for a range of clients, from small owner-managed businesses to large multi-national corporations. Transfer Pricing experience would also be a distinct advantage but not imperative.

Benefits of this role are that you will work very closely with the lead tax partner who himself has a focus on providing international tax advice to a range of UK and European businesses as they look to expand into the USA. The role also comes with fairly regular trips to the firms US office on the East Coast.

You will need to be CTA/ACA qualified and have at least 4 years UK corporate tax or international tax experience. You will already have the right to work in the UK and also have the ability to travel to the USA a few times per year. There is also the opportunity for longer term secondments to the USA.
