Associate - Tax Lawyer
Pure are working with a leading law firm to appoint a newly created position at the Associate level. This is a new hire due to the continual company growth and increased workload being taken from the Big 4 Accountancy firms. There is a clear progression pathway and a strong culture of promoting and growing talent from within the team.
You will ideally be a newly qualified tax lawyer or have 1-2 years qualified experience. Previous experience working with private equity, real estate or financial services is highly desirable but not essential. The role will involve working with clients from all three areas, but training will be provided. You will be supporting the senior staff with advising on transactions, but also providing banking and project finance, financial services and restructuring tax advice.
Essential requirements:
* Previous experience in either a law firm or accountancy practice
* Experience assisting with tax and legal advice on complex transactions
* Newly qualified or 1-2 years PQE as a Tax Lawyer
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
* Up to date knowledge of key areas of the law to be able to provide clear, accurate and practical advice
