Tax Senior Manager - Restructuring Tax

The UK’s market leading Financial Advisory Restructuring Tax team is currently sourcing for a UK trained CTA/ACA to join their team. They specialises in providing tax advice on the restructuring of financially distressed businesses & lead on some of Europe’s largest and most complex restructuring processes. These include debt restructuring transactions, debt-for-equity swaps, business reconstructions via Restructuring Plans, Schemes of Arrangement and CVAs, and insolvency appointments.

The excellent news is you do not have to come with this experience to date but really want a change commercially. You can come from OMB Tax Advisory, Private Markets, Core M&A or ITS and now want to utilise your training and experience and shift gears. Excellence compensation and "advisory" bonus potential is a significant plus.

The team has a great mix of UK and international transactions work to date to support you in this transition to restructuring tax.
You will work directly with their financial advisory colleagues and external stakeholders including lenders, borrowers and legal advisors to understand the often complex commercial and legal requirements of each restructuring transaction

On the back of this you will aid developing a strategy for achieving the commercial aims in a tax efficient manner & preparing reports setting out the steps necessary to meet the aims of the transaction.
This means excellent communication advising insolvency practitioners involved in the restructuring on the tax consequences of their intended actions & working with the wider team on advising on the submission of appropriate tax returns or other documentation to tax authorities and liaising with them, as required.
