Our client is a constituent of the FTSE 100 and is searching for a Senior Tax Manager to join the tax team based in central London.
In this newly created Senior Tax Manager job, you will report to the Head of Tax and play a key role in leading the Group's global tax strategy, reporting, and compliance. Together, you will manage the international tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A due diligence, and Pillar 2.
Some of your responsibilities include:
* Manage the Group's effective tax rate and lead global tax planning initiatives aligned with commercial and strategic priorities.
* Conduct or oversee tax due diligence for acquisitions, partnering with external advisors as needed.
* Support UK and international businesses in maintaining compliant, efficient corporate and indirect tax reporting.
* Ensure strong governance, risk management, and process controls to support Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, quarterly payments, and Head Office VAT returns.
* Support the GFC and Group Chief Accountant to prepare and delivery accurate and timely tax accounting for interim and year-end reporting
* Prepare or review deferred taxation calculations across the Group
* Develop and maintain global transfer pricing policies and governance in partnership with external advisors.
* Responsible for maintenance of local and master Transfer Pricing documentation and ensuring compliance throughout the Group
* Ensure compliance with Country by Country Reporting and implementing Public CbCR;
* Oversee Pillar 2 readiness and implementation across jurisdictions, ensuring timely impact assessments and disclosures.
To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with experience working in a fast-paced international organisation across multiple tax disciplines. Excellent project management skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

This opportunity will pay £90,000-£100,000 plus 20% discretionary bonus and benefits. The business follows a hybrid model of 3 days in the office.
