This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work directly with the Partner and Head of Capital Allowances to shape and grow a brand-new service line within a prestigious multi-disciplinary advisory, tax, and audit firm. You'll collaborate with specialist teams in tax, real estate, and construction, while driving innovation and excellence across multiple sectors.
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
* Lead the charge in advising clients on capital allowances relating to property transactions and developments
* Conduct in-depth due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
* Travel across the UK to carry out property surveys, getting hands-on with projects
* Take ownership of valuations for land, buildings, and plant & machinery, ensuring accurate claims for HMRC
* Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, becoming a trusted expert in your field
* Support sales, marketing, and business development, helping to elevate the service line
* Mentor and train new team members, shaping the next generation of specialists
What You Bring to the Table:
* 3+ years of capital allowances experience-ideally with an RICS qualification or relevant tax certification (ATT, etc.)
* A sharp, strategic mind with a strong technical understanding of capital allowances and tax incentives
* A self-starter who thrives on autonomy and problem-solving
* Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal
* Strong organizational abilities, with a talent for managing priorities and deadlines
* Highly numerate and analytical, with a strong grasp of IT tools to enhance your work
