About the Role
A leading accountancy practice is seeking an experienced M&A Tax Specialist to join its high-performing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest buy-outs in Europe, advising private equity houses and infrastructure funds on complex tax matters.
The role provides the chance to build a strong client portfolio, develop technical expertise, and foster strategic relationships with key industry players.
Key Responsibilities
* Support clients with M&A tax advisory, managing high-profile transactions.
* Provide guidance to international and mid-cap private equity houses, infrastructure funds, and emerging capital providers.
* Assist in all stages of the deal cycle, including due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, financing input, post-acquisition implementation, and portfolio company advisory.
* Lead tax compliance and advisory projects, ensuring adherence to complex regulatory frameworks.
* Identify business development opportunities, fostering strong client relationships.
* Enhance marketing and technical expertise, contributing to industry thought leadership.
* Promote diversity and inclusion, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements
* ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
* Proven M&A tax or transaction tax experience, ideally within a professional services firm.
* Strong commercial awareness, with exposure to international clients.
* Excellent communication and project management skills, capable of analyzing complex issues and providing tailored solutions.
* Experience as a mentor or coach, supporting junior professionals.
