Senior Manager - Corporate & International Tax, London

This leading international tax advisory team provides expert guidance to some of the largest multinational companies operating in the UK. Its clients include well-known household names across various industry sectors, excluding financial services. The work involves cutting-edge tax advice, requiring technical expertise and creativity, with opportunities to contribute to major corporate transactions and international projects.

The team is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager who thrives on technical challenges and is eager to develop client relationships while mentoring and growing a high-performing team. Candidates should have a strong track record in managing complex international and corporate tax projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

This role is available across multiple offices, including London, Cambridge, Reading, Southampton, and Watford, providing flexibility in location.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain close relationships with a diverse range of clients
* Shape and oversee client accounts, with opportunities to collaborate on one-off projects
* Serve as a leading adviser on the latest tax developments, guiding businesses through complex tax and financial challenges
* Engage in varied work, including advising on major corporate transactions, providing international and UK tax guidance, and supporting tax audits for major companies
* Apply technical tax expertise in a stimulating and challenging environment, working closely with corporate tax specialists and a team of managers
* Develop both technical and interpersonal skills, with opportunities to deepen expertise in areas such as international structuring, finance and treasury tax, operating models, or specific industry sectors
* Work alongside Partners and senior professionals, learning from some of the most well-regarded specialists in the field

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is suited for individuals who:

* Hold a UK professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, solicitor) or an overseas equivalent
* Have significant international and UK corporate tax advisory experience, particularly in complex transactions (ideally including tax reporting or tax accounting experience)
* Possess strong analytical skills and a flexible approach, capable of working across multiple client teams simultaneously
* Have experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
* Demonstrate expertise in project management, including delegating responsibilities and overseeing work within a team context
* Have a commitment to professional development, both personally and in supporting colleagues' growth
