Corporate Tax Manager – In-House

The Opportunity
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will oversee all aspects of UK corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory. You will work directly with senior leadership, playing a key role in structuring projects, transfer pricing, HMRC engagement, and tax planning across the group’s UK operations.
This is a broad, standalone position offering both technical challenge and commercial exposure.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all UK corporate tax compliance, including returns, QIPs, group reliefs, and SAO obligations
• Manage HMRC interactions, including enquiries, audits, and correspondence
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and ensure alignment with OECD and UK requirements
• Support tax aspects of group transactions, restructurings, and refinancing
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions, disclosures, and reporting under IFRS
• Review R&D tax credit claims and coordinate with external advisors on governance
Candidate Profile
You will be a qualified tax or accounting professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with a strong UK corporate tax background, likely gained in a Big 4/top-tier firm and/or an in-house environment. You should be comfortable navigating both compliance detail and strategic planning, with excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative, commercially minded approach.
