Indirect Tax Analyst

We're working with a major UK-based organisation to recruit an experienced Indirect Tax Analyst to join their central finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in VAT and indirect tax compliance who is looking to grow their in-house expertise in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

This role is predominantly remote but will require 1 day a month in their London office and 1 day a month in a regional office.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and support preparation of VAT, CIS, and PSA returns.
* Ensure timely submission of returns across the business.
* Assist in standardising tax processes and documentation.
* Support tax awareness initiatives and embed best practices across teams.
* Identify and implement improvements in tax compliance and reporting.
* Provide indirect tax advice to internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.
* Support audits and ad hoc tax projects.
* Review purchase invoices for VAT and CIS compliance.

What We're Looking For

* 3+ years' experience in an indirect tax role (in-house preferred).
* Part qualified or open to pursuing a professional qualification.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Confident working independently in a remote-first environment.
* Proficient in Excel and comfortable handling large data sets.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
