Pure Search are exclusively partnered with a global FinTech looking to hire an International Tax Senior Manager, reporting to the Head of Tax and as part of a global tax team, based in the US.
Responsibilities:
* Lead global tax compliance and provisioning activities outside the scope of EMEA tax, serving as the primary coordinator for consolidated reporting.
* Oversee accounting matters tied to goodwill, intellectual property, valuations, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring comprehensive responses to audit inquiries.
* Manage accurate and timely preparation of tax filings for all worldwide entities excluding EMEA tax jurisdictions.
* Collaborate with regional tax leads, finance partners, and external advisors to reduce exposure and maximise international tax efficiency.
* Provide measurable assurance on the governance, accuracy, and efficiency of global tax reporting and compliance frameworks.
* Drive enhancements in effective tax rate (ETR) forecasting, assess impacts of legislative changes, and strengthen data analytics to guide strategic decisions.
* Handle engagements with international tax authorities in partnership with local finance managers and cross-border teams.
* Support strategic tax initiatives such as transfer pricing, restructuring, entity rationalisation, and advisory work on contracts and global projects.
* Direct, review, and mentor senior tax team members, fostering professional growth and high-quality deliverable.
Requirements:

Professional qualification in accounting or taxation (e.g., chartered accountant or chartered tax advisor, or equivalent).

Advanced technical knowledge of ASC 740, particularly in purchase accounting.

Strong capability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive transformation across diverse geographies.
The role is paying up to $175,000 + 12.5% bonus, - this can be fully remote US based, or based in one of the US hubs across New York/Florida/Missouri/Georgia/Texas
