A really unique and exciting role to come in and lead the Customs Advisory offering for this association focused on global trade. The role has a very strong commercial focus and they seek a candidate to lead the next phase in the development of their advisory offering.
The role will involve:
● Developing and maintaining high value client relationships
● Personal leadership of delivery teams on high value and strategically important advisory engagements
● Support the wider strategy by engaging with UK and International stakeholders
● Public speaking engagements including representation at industry and government forums, influencing the developments of international trade policies
● Remain up to date with customs and trade policy and procedures in the UK and internationally and take a thought leadership position on relevant developments
To apply you will need:
● Demonstrable expert level knowledge and experience in customs & trade legislation and/or export control, ideally with a profile as a recognised thought leader
● Experience of working within a professional services firm in the UK (ideally at Director level) and have a proven track record of business growth
● An innovative and entrepreneurial mind set
● Demonstrable business acumen
● Good knowledge across a range of technology tools and systems deployed in international trade
