Private Client Tax Assistant Manager - London (Hybrid)
We are working with a highly respected accountancy firm to hire a talented Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious client portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, international families, and complex cross-border structures.
This role is ideal for someone with strong personal tax compliance experience who is also keen to develop their advisory skills. You'll be joining a well-established and growing Private Client Tax team, known for its technical excellence and collaborative culture. The team includes experienced professionals at all levels and offers a supportive environment for career development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full personal tax compliance cycle for a portfolio of complex clients.
* Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Liaise directly with clients, family offices, and other stakeholders.
* Support senior staff in delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory services.
* Contribute to advisory projects alongside specialist colleagues.
* Monitor budgets, WIP, billing, and debt recovery for your portfolio.
Experience
We're looking for someone who:
* Is ACA and/or CTA qualified or equivalent tax qualification
* Has experience managing personal tax compliance for HNW/UHNW clients.
* Is confident reviewing junior staff work and managing client relationships.
* Has exposure to advisory work across inheritance tax, CGT, and non-dom planning.
* Understands international tax issues and offshore structures.
* Comes from a professional services background.
* Is detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong communicator.
