Your new role
We are seeking a Eurpoen Tax Manager to join the UK-based tax team in Cheshire, focusing on European compliance and reporting. This is a pivotal European Tax Manager job where you'll lead direct tax filings, manage audit proceedings and support both local and global tax initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic decisions and ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing direct tax compliance and reporting for various European region
* Leading tax audits and collaborating with local finance teams
* Supporting transfer pricing documentation and operational tax advice
* Ensuring strong internal controls and risk management
* Leveraging technology toimprove tax processes and reporting
* Coaching junior team members and managing external advisor budgets

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified tax professional (CTA/ACA/ACCA) with extensive experience in tax compliance, either from practice or industry experience.
