This role is a brilliant opportunity to work in a fast-growing Global FTSE 100 business. Working within a lean, flat structure, you will have the opportunity to be hands on, accountable and be close to the business. This role is key in leading the Group's global tax strategy, tax reporting, and compliance. Working closely with the Head of Tax, you'll manage international tax planning, Transfer pricing, M&A, due diligence, and the implementation of new regulations like Pillar 2.

Role Responsibilities:

· Manage the Group's effective tax rate and lead global tax planning initiatives aligned with commercial and strategic priorities.

· Conduct or oversee tax due diligence for acquisitions, partnering with external advisors as needed.

· Support UK and international businesses in maintaining compliant, efficient corporate and indirect tax reporting.

· Collaborate with finance and business leaders to develop and embed Group-wide tax policies and processes.

· Maintain a Global Tax Risk Register and oversee country-specific risk management and compliance frameworks.

· Build and manage effective relationships with our external tax advisors

UK Tax

· Ensure strong governance, risk management, and process controls to support Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance.

· Oversee the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, quarterly payments, and Head Office VAT returns.

Taxation Reporting

· Support the Senior Finance team to prepare and delivery accurate and timely tax accounting for interim and year-end reporting

· Prepare or review deferred taxation calculations across the Group

· Ensure compliance with internal and external tax reporting requirements

Transfer Pricing

· Develop and maintain global transfer pricing policies and governance in partnership with external advisors.

· Responsible for maintenance of local and master Transfer Pricing documentation and ensuring compliance throughout the Group

· Ensure appropriate intercompany agreements are in place and adhered to;

· Ensure compliance with Country by Country Reporting and implementing Public CbCR;

· Oversee Pillar 2 readiness and implementation across jurisdictions, ensuring timely impact assessments and disclosures.

· Monitor and evaluate intercompany transactions for tax efficiency, documentation, and compliance.

Suitable candidates will be available to start work at short notice for an initial 6 month period. You will ideally have 5 years + nprevious experience as a Tax Manager in an international group.

You will be able to show an attention to detail as well as being able to see the bigger picture and apply pragmatism.You will have good communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at every level
