Focused on expertise and innovation, my client offers a broad range of services, including tax, advisory, and financial solutions. Their purpose is simple: to guide clients through change, unlock potential, and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Role Overview

The Real Estate team brings together specialists from Tax, Transactions, Assurance, and Advisory. Within Real Estate Tax, the team provides advisory and compliance services to UK and international property investors and developers, including funds, asset managers, REITs, overseas investors, housebuilders, landed estates, and private clients. They also collaborate closely with Transaction Services on Real Estate M&A assignments, offering financial and tax due diligence, structuring, and transactional support. Many projects involve international clients and cross-border investments, leveraging the global CLA network.
Purpose of Role
As an Associate Director, you'll join a Real Estate Tax team experiencing significant growth, with Real Estate as a strategic focus sector. If you have strong technical expertise in Real Estate and thrive in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment, this role could be ideal. You'll apply your skills in both advisory and compliance work while managing projects and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering complex tax consultancy projects and compliance assignments across the real estate sector.
* Lead transactional work, including tax structuring and due diligence for M&A activity, coordinating input from specialist teams.
* Support senior leadership with business development for existing and prospective clients.
* Mentor and develop junior team members through training, delegation, and performance management.

Desired Experience

* Significant UK corporate tax experience within the profession and/or industry, ideally in a Real Estate team.
* Strong understanding of specialist taxes in the real estate sector.
* Excellent client and project management skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively.
* Demonstrable people management experience.
* ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent expertise).

Benefits

My client offers a competitive package, including:

* Competitive salary
* Private medical insurance
* Life assurance
* Pension contributions
* Hybrid working model
* Generous holiday allowance with options to purchase additional days
* Shared parental leave
* Fully funded professional training
* Cycle-to-work scheme, season ticket loan, and eye care support

My client values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected and empowered to reach their full potential.
