My client is an incredibly successful and established highliy regarded professional services organisation in theΒ City of London, they are seeking additional headcount for their growing TaxΒ Advisory-focused team.

This role is ideal for an experienced private client tax professional who enjoys complex advisory work, client interaction, and playing a key role in delivering high-quality tax planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.

The Role As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver bespoke advisory services across a diverse private client portfolio. You’ll take ownership of projects, manage client relationships, and help shape the firm’s advisory offering.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering private client tax advisory work, including IHT planning, trusts, estate planning, and residency/domicile matters
- Managing a portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and trusts
- Preparing and reviewing complex personal tax returns as part of wider advisory engagements
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear, practical, and commercially aware tax advice
- Leading client meetings and managing advisory projects from start to finish
- Supporting HMRC enquiries and technical correspondence
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Identifying planning opportunities and supporting business development initiatives

Requirements:

- CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in private client tax advisory within practice
- Technical expertise across IHT, trusts, estate planning, and personal tax
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to spot advisory and planning opportunities
- Experience managing and developing junior staff
