A leading UK professional services firm, backed by private equity and entering an exciting phase of investment and growth, is seeking a Private Client Tax Partner to play a central role in the evolution of its private client offering. The firm will also consider a high calibre Director ready to step up to Partner level.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well established platform at a point of genuine transformation. The existing private client practice is sizeable and highly reputable, but historically compliance led. The firm is now investing heavily to build a more advisory driven, revenue focused private client business, including the creation of a new advisory team.

The incoming Partner will be expected to lead this shift, taking ownership of advisory growth, business development and client relationships, while helping shape the future direction of the practice. There is clear long term potential for senior leadership within the private client team for the right individual.

The Role

* Acting as lead adviser to a portfolio of private clients, delivering high quality UK private client tax advice
* Driving advisory led workstreams across areas such as succession, wealth structuring and complex personal tax matters
* Developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones through proactive business development
* Leading, building and mentoring a growing advisory focused team
* Playing a key role in shaping strategy, proposition and market positioning
* Contributing to thought leadership, marketing activity and external profile building

The Ideal Profile

* CTA qualified with significant UK private client tax experience
* Background in professional services with strong advisory credentials
* Proven commercial mindset with the ability to generate new revenue
* Strong people leadership and relationship management skills
* Ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated by building something rather than inheriting it
