A few of your responsibilities include:

* Ownership of key tax forecasting, reporting, and compliance deliverables, leveraging strong technical expertise to ensure outputs are accurate, robust, and aligned with tax legislation and IFRS requirements.
* Ensure UK and global tax forecasting requirements are delivered effectively and on time.
* Manage relationships with external advisors and oversee outsourced subsidiary tax compliance, while retaining ownership of the preparation of complex tax returns.
* Collaborate with overseas tax teams to ensure the group's tax position is appropriately reflected and that global compliance obligations (including Pillar Two / Global Minimum Tax and Country-by-Country Reporting) are met.
* Lead the resolution of technical tax issues as they arise and contribute to strategic projects driven by business change, while driving continuous improvement in processes and supporting tax risk management and governance activities.
* Coach and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development and overall team capability.
