Clark Wood are currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join a highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT / CTA studier, experienced Personal Tax Assistant or Personal Tax Senior looking to develop their career within a growing Private Client Tax team.

Working closely with a Tax Partner, you will manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance services while gaining further exposure to advisory work and client management.

As a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including individuals, directors, landlords and high-net-worth clients.
- Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
- Dealing with a variety of personal tax matters including employment income, self-employment, property income, investments, overseas income and capital gains.
- Preparing tax computations and ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
- Liaising directly with clients and providing support on personal tax queries.
- Working closely with the Tax Partner to deliver a high-quality client service.
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work where required.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Previous experience working within a Personal Tax department in a UK accountancy practice.
- ATT qualified, studying towards ATT / CTA, or qualified by experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance.
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of private clients.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ambition to develop within a growing firm.
