Director - International Corporate Tax - London or other UK locations

This role is based in London but the client is open to other locations across the UK.

Your responsibilities as a Director
As a Director, you will take a leading role in delivering complex international tax advisory projects for some of the largest UK and foreign-owned multinational organisations, helping clients develop and execute their international tax strategies.

Alongside delivering technically excellent, commercially focused advice, you will build and strengthen senior client relationships, proactively identify new business opportunities, and take responsibility for delivering an exceptional level of client service.

You will collaborate with specialist across the UK and global network, build high-performing engagement teams, and play an active role in the wider strategy and operation of the team, including coaching, mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

Requirements
You will be a client-focused and commercially minded tax professional with strong UK tax technical expertise and significant experience advising large multinational organisations on complex, cross-border tax matters.

Your knowledge will ideally cover areas including CFCs, anti-hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property and Pillar Two, alongside the ability to navigate complex and nuanced issues.

You will have a proven ability to build trusted client relationships, deliver high-quality advice, identify and convert business development opportunities, and effectively manage the financial performance of engagements.

Strong communication, negotiation and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. You will also bring experience managing, coaching and developing junior team members, with a collaborative apporoch to building high-performing teams.

A flexible, innovative mindset and willingness to embrace new technologies and ways of working are important. ATT, ACA, CA or CTA qualifications are preferred.
