A well-established professional services firm is looking for an International Tax Director to join its International Tax practice. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a senior advisory role supporting large, complex, multinational clients through an increasingly complicated global tax environment.
You'll join a capable, well-regarded team backed by an experienced leadership group, at a firm going through a period of sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of multinational clients, advising on tax structuring, refinancing, group restructuring, transaction-related reorganisations and tax authority queries, while supporting the wider corporate tax function
* Build relationships with clients and prospects, identifying the best way to open new conversations and opportunities
* Advise on international tax structuring, business reorganisation, operating model changes, and the impact of shifting global tax policy
* Keep technical knowledge current and explain complex tax matters clearly to a range of audiences, including strong awareness of overseas tax regimes relevant to your client base
* Run several projects at once, coordinating teams across functions and geographies
* Shape business strategy in response to client needs and broader tax trends
* Uphold strong compliance and risk standards across all client work
* Support business development through market knowledge and client relationships
* Coach and develop junior team members, contributing to an inclusive, high-performing culture
About You
* Professionally qualified (ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent) with a solid grounding in corporate tax and accounting
* Strong background in international tax advisory within a large professional services environment
* Deep technical knowledge of corporate tax, cross-border structuring, and tax risk management
* A track record of leading complex client engagements
* Commercially minded, comfortable turning technical advice into practical business value
* Confident identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working across multiple tax jurisdictions and regulatory regimes
* Genuine commitment to inclusive, ethical leadership
* Skilled at coaching and developing people
