Our client, a leading professional services and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Deal Advisory Tax Senior Manager to join its Corporate Tax practice, with a particular focus on infrastructure transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded, high-profile team known for its collaborative culture and supportive leadership.

About the Team

The Deal Advisory Tax team provides specialist advisory services to a broad mix of investors, including private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds, institutional and long-term investors, as well as major corporates undertaking strategic transactions. The team advises across the full transaction lifecycle, from due diligence and structuring on acquisitions, to vendor-side support on disposals, as well as refinancing and capital markets work, often collaborating with tax specialists internationally on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner closely with senior stakeholders on complex deals, delivering advice and service of the highest standard
* Play an active role in business development, contributing to proposals and client pitches
* Develop and nurture strong client relationships as part of a wider transaction team
* Serve as a central point of contact for clients, legal advisers, and internal colleagues, ensuring seamless delivery
* Mentor and support junior colleagues, helping to build a collaborative, learning-focused culture
* Draft and review technical tax advice spanning a variety of UK and cross-border matters
* Review tax documentation to identify key issues and explain their commercial significance to clients
* Collaborate with international tax colleagues, providing critical challenge and input
* Stay current on UK and international tax developments
* Assess financial models through a tax lens
* Support both internal knowledge-sharing and external thought leadership

About You

* Holds a CTA, ACA, CA qualification, or equivalent
* Driven and motivated, with a genuine passion for transaction work
* Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills
* Sound corporate tax knowledge, complemented by a wider understanding of related tax and accounting issues
* Analytically minded and commercially astute, with a naturally curious approach to problem-solving
* Well-organised with strong project management skills, comfortable working collaboratively or taking the initiative independently
* Proactive in spotting and pursuing new business opportunities
* Effective at building and sustaining relationships with clients and stakeholders alike
* Track record of coaching, developing, and leading team members
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Flexible Working

Although the role may occasionally involve travel and time spent on-site with clients, our client places genuine importance on flexible working and supporting employees to balance their professional and personal commitments. Specific arrangements can be explored further during the recruitment process.
