Personal Tax Semi Senior | Sheffield | Salary £26,000 - £32,000 DOE
Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established accountancy firm who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their growing tax team.
The Role
Working as part of the tax team, you will support with a varied portfolio of personal and partnership tax clients while developing your technical knowledge and client management skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing personal tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing partnership tax returns and capital gains tax returns
- Gathering relevant financial information from clients and dealing with routine queries
- Building strong and lasting professional relationships with clients
- Liaising with HMRC and third parties, including banks and letting agents
- Supporting senior members of the team with tax compliance work
- Assisting with ad-hoc advisory assignments and client projects
About You
- Previous personal tax experience within a practice setting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen to develop professionally and work towards relevant tax qualifications such as ATT and CTA
