The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Mixed Tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, with exposure to high-level advisory work, direct Partner involvement and the chance to make a genuine impact within a growing tax team.

You'll work closely with Partners and senior colleagues on a broad range of complex and interesting tax matters, advising a diverse portfolio of corporate and private clients.
This is a varied, hands-on position offering the autonomy to manage advisory projects from initial consultation through to completion, while developing your technical expertise, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the wider success of the department.

Advisory work will include:

- Corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Inheritance Tax (IHT) and estate planning
- Property taxation and transactions
- Business sales, acquisitions and disposals
- SEIS/EIS and employee share incentive schemes
- Trusts, succession planning and international tax matters

- Lead and deliver complex mixed tax advisory projects, working closely with Partners and senior management.
- Provide commercially focused tax advice to a varied portfolio of corporate and private clients.
- Prepare and review detailed tax advisory reports, correspondence and technical recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout advisory engagements.
- Advise on the tax implications of corporate transactions, working alongside other specialist teams where required.
- Oversee the preparation and review of transaction-related documentation.
- Manage complex HMRC enquiries and provide technically robust responses.
- Support, mentor and develop junior colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Take responsibility for elements of team management, including delegation, performance reviews and recruitment.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the tax department, identifying opportunities to enhance client service and develop new business.

About YouWe're looking for a technically strong, commercially minded tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients and is keen to take on greater responsibility.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Strong mixed tax experience spanning Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, Inheritance Tax and Trusts, with exposure to international tax matters.
- CTA qualification or an equivalent professional qualification, although candidates qualified by experience are equally encouraged to apply.
- A background within a mid-tier, Top 100 or similarly established accountancy practice.
- Demonstrable experience delivering complex tax advisory work and managing client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical tax matters into clear, practical advice.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their objectives.
- The confidence to manage multiple projects, support junior colleagues and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
- Good IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
