This role is ideal for an experienced personal tax specialist seeking greater flexibility and autonomy but with the backdrop of a supportive senior management team. This organisation is forward thinking in it's working practices and fully embraces flexible working ie working from home on a regular basis. A part time arrangement may be considered.

As a senior manager, you will be responsible for a small team as well as managing your own portfolio of clients. The work will involve the review of the compliance work carried out by the team as well as the more complex compliance work on behalf of the technically challenging clients. You will also be responsible for advisory work across the client base, and for client contact both for existing and for potential clients.

This is a full service role requiring a range of skills from technical, client handling, management and the administration that comes with the successful running of a team. There is plenty of scope to develop the team and the client base further and you will be fully supported in this both by the Head of Tax and by the wider team. However, this would be at your own pace and the development of the client base is not a preprequisite of the role; it is far more important that you have the technical, client handling and management skills to successfully run the existing clients and team members.
