Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
* Act as business partner providing tax advice for new business set-ups and leading on all key tax considerations relating to the business projects and plans;
* Monitor and manage the Group's controlled foreign companies' exposure as well as the Group's transfer pricing risk ensuring material intra-group arrangements are priced and documented appropriately.
* Define, implement and maintain best practice tax processes and policies ensuring these are communicated to the rest of the Group;
* Oversee and review the corporation tax returns prepared by external advisers as well as the tax disclosures and narratives for statutory and consolidated accounts;
* Review new legislation and reporting standards and advise the CFO of the implications on tax rates, forecasts etc;
* Provide professional input and advice on VAT issues - both UK and overseas;
* Lead on tax requirements and advice on global warehousing and movement of goods to provide most tax effective, simple supply chain
