Senior In House VAT Manager, London. Open to Part-Time or Flex Working

This global business is at the cutting edge of construction and has gone from strength to strength with ambitious plans where employee growth and development are very much encouraged. They are looking for a Senior VAT Manager to take ownership of indirect tax with one direct report. It is a global role that involves a mix of hands on compliance review work (prepared by the VAT Accountant), managing the relationship with HMRC, international advisory work and understanding the various components of the group to become a natural partner to the business. The Head of Tax is hands off in management style so is keen for someone to take ownership and be proactive about driving the direction of the role.

The successful candidate will be professionally qualified and could either come straight from the profession or moving from another in-house role. You must be happy to be hands on when it comes to looking at compliance and reporting processes whilst also adding value to the business.

The Head of Tax is very open to different working patterns to attract the best possible candidate so would happily consider those looking to work part-time, have a flexible working pattern or working from home.
