Head of Tax (with international scope), London

Leading a team of three in London, the Head of Tax role with international scope, will include responsibility for tax planning and strategic support, oversight of tax compliance and reporting, and liaison with senior stakeholders within the group. You will need to provide leadership, oversight and accountability over specific tax planning and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Implement tax planning opportunities
Work closely with business leaders, to align tax planning with company objectives
Communicate complicated tax issues to stakeholders
Provide support on M&A, joint ventures and other transactions
Maintain up to date knowledge of tax law and legislation
Provide development opportunities for tax team members, to broaden the team's expertise
Oversee the preparation of financial information
Manage multi-location teams and cross-functional project teams
Identify and champion process improvements
Participate in the internal and external audit process
